Wintry Walks and Spring Dawning

Having not blogged for a while I thought I would share some photo’s of a few of my winter walks and the garden. ๐Ÿ™‚

In early January I went to a forest near to where I live and had a lovely walk in the early morning mists – here’s a few pics:

Sunrise and the mist rising in the forest. I had a lovely long walk, it was lovely to just listen to all the birds and the other sounds of nature. ๐Ÿ™‚

A thorny gorse spine – very prickly but looked beautiful. ๐Ÿ™‚

And here’s some later photo’s of some plants and birds making an appearance in the garden – spring is nearly here! ๐Ÿ˜€

Crocuses opening as the weather warms. ๐Ÿ™‚

A pair of starlings noisily having their fill of buggy nibbles from one of our feeders.

A lone sparrow on the lookout from the top of one of our bean poles! ๐Ÿ™‚

I love spring and it is only round the corner now. What are you looking forward to and what plans have you got? ๐Ÿ™‚
