Stormy Weather

Over the last 3 or 4 days we’ve had some thunder storms in the UK where I live, so I thought I would do a bit of a photo blog. ๐Ÿ™‚

This is what it started out like on Saturday late afternoon. It seemed to skirt around the edge of where I live, although you could hear the cacophony of sound from the crash and rumble of thunder.

Invertebrate Fun on a Wild Walk

Yesterday I went for a walk in our local woods and meadow where they have a small pond tucked out-of-the-way, sort of hidden gem you might say. ๐Ÿ™‚

Spring has sprung…

The last couple of days has been sunshine and warm temperatures so I have been in the garden getting things ready for planting out and taking lots of pictures (sorry bit of a photo blog) :D.

Over the last week or so we have had a lovely female great spotted woodpecker come to our feeders. ๐Ÿ™‚

Cobwebs and Countryside

A couple of weeks ago I was busy in the garden and happened to see an Orb-web-spider construct a web from the beginning. ๐Ÿ™‚ I must have sat watching for about an hour as it precisely spun its silk to create its beautiful web – I love spider webs and the next day I went out very early in the morning to try to capture a few pictures of webs where I walk (I missed the Orb-spiders creation in my garden due to no camera.)

I think this is quite exquisite, it was one of the larger ones and in a series of webs.
